“Women’s Fading Echoes” explores the layered effects of censorship beyond individual figures to their cultural environments. Using altered archival portraits of pre-revolutionary Iranian women, the work reflects on erasure, memory, and connection through physical interventions. The fragmented, tactile assembly embodies how these voices persist despite societal attempts to silence and disconnect them.
