This work is a personal act of remembrance and mourning for the 2019–2020 protests in Iran, known as Bloody Aban. Through the layering of sculptural form and projected imagery, it honors the lives lost and the stories that remain censored or unnamed. A shrouded body stands in for the anonymous dead, while repeated, stamp-like portraits evoke a haunting archive of absence. The piece becomes both a memorial and a meditation on collective grief, fear, and resistance.
